Life...

For Andrew and I lately life has been full of decisions. We have been living on a roller coaster lately, but it has been fun. We have been able to step out of the norm (literally) and see all of our many blessings. So since it is that time of year and I have some much to be grateful for I thought I would like so many others (thanks ash) tell you what I am grateful for this Thanksgivning:

-I am so grateful for my sweet husband who supports me in all that I do and all the decisions I make.
-My family who I miss and wish I could see everyday. I can't wait for all of us to be together over the hollidays!
-My beliefs and my calling. I love the nursery! The kids teach me so much about life.
-Friends and neighbors who are always there for you!
-Our apartment!!! Even though it's tiny, it's home!
-The Christmas season approaching and all it brings
-Older adults and the wisdom they share
-Chocolate oranges or raspberries
-Mashed potatoes
-Work
-A life full of suprizes

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ainsley Beth's First Birthday

I can't believe our cute little niece Ainsley Beth is turning one year old today! She is so darling and such a joy to our family. She is in Michigan so I can't watch eat her first cupcake and smear frosting all over her face and hair, but I do want her to know how much her we love her and that we have been thinking about her all day! She is now a walking, talking, one year old. We are also excited for my cute brother and sister-in-law who just found out they're expecting twins!Congratulations you guys!!! We will be so excited to have two new sweet spirits in our family! And don't worry Andrew and I plan on helping as much as possible! Andrew and I love our nieces and nephews to pieces and love to spend as much time with them as possible. We hope we will be good parents like all of you are and have as cute of kids :). Happy birthday Ainsley Beth! Love you!

Happy Birthday Andrew and Ashley!

Well I am a little behind, but I wanted to wish Andrew and Ashley a very happy birthday. Andrew's birthday was on Friday and Ashley birthday was on Saturday. I just wanted both of them to know how much I love them. Andrew is a constant support to me. He is such an example of kindness and is always willing to serve others. On his birthday we went to dinner with his parents to the Dodo and then came to our apartment and opended presents. And since my cute sister Ashley is so far away I could only call and wish her a happy birthday and send her a present. So Ash just so you know Andrew and I love you and were thinking about you all day on your birthday. You are such an example to me and I have always looked up to you. Well enough with the mushy stuff and sorry for the delay, but just so you know I love you both and am so glad you were born!! Oh and Ash sorry for the pregnant picture (it's the only one I could find of all four of us and I wanted Ainsley to be present in some way!:)

Sorry it's been so long!

Well I was looking at the last time we posted and it's been almost a month. Pathetic I know, but things have been a little crazy. Andrew is back in school and is taking some pretty hard classes, lets just say I'm glad I wasn't a Biology major. He is enjoying them so far though. He is taking Calculus, Organic Chemistry, and Physics of the Human Body (i think that's the name of it). :) And I have just been on the job hunt. It has been fun to see what's out there and a little overwhelming at the same time so if you have any ideas of what you think I should be when I grow up let me know. ;) But before school started Andrew and I got away for little bit and headed south. My cute Grandparents let us use their condo in St.George and we had a blast! We went to Las Vegas one day and went swimming and shopping. It was nice to spend some time together before our schedules got busier. So I think that's all the new news with us. We hope you are all doing well and we will try and post some pictures from our trip later.

It's Official...

On Wednesday I finished my last class at the U. I'm very excited, but sad at the same time. While I was walking to my class I was thinking I'm really going to miss this campus, even though you sometimes wonder if someone is going to run you over on hyper highway or if your going to go ice staking down to President's circle. Don't get me wrong when it's snowing outside I won't be sad I'm nice and warm inside, but I guess my rather silly advice is to try and enjoy your college experience. It was fun while it lasted and know I have to grow up and get a real job. Scary.... It will be an exciting new adventure right?

Memories
Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Lazy Sunday Day

Today Tracy and I woke up early and drove home from staying the night at Tracy's Mom's house. We got ready and went to church. Nursery was alot of fun and the kids had alot of energy! After we went to church we took a nap and then made dinner. Tracy and i decided after dinner to go for a walk in the neighborhood nearby. It was fun to see the beautiful houses in the area and talk about the future. We love the student appartments but wonder what our future digs will be like. If you ever get a chance to go see the Harvard-Yale area of salt lake it sure is beautiful. My favorite thing about it is the way the huge trees in the front yards of the houses create a tunnel that shades the street. Tracy really wants to get fixer upper and renovate it together. I think we would make a pretty good team! anyway, We hope everyone is doing well and sorry there's no pictures!
love,
Andrew & Tracy

Silver Lake Fun in the Sun...

Today Tracy and I went up to Silver lake with Tracy's Family. We had alot of fun walking around the lake! Noah, Tracy's nephew would run down the trail everytime you put him down! He's getting pretty hard to keep up with. Tracy's Mom, Vicki, and her sister, Brean, made us a picnic to eat. It was DELICIOUS!!! A word to the wise though, Eat picnics at silver lake at you own risk!!! Pot guts abound and are not scared of people. They frequently came within two to three feet and when i tried to chase one off it stood its ground and chirped menicingly at me. I was scared! Tract even jumped up on the table!! haha ;) She was wearing flip flops though... the sign said they could mistake a toe for a tasty tidbit, dun dun dun... all in all the lake was a blast and we enjoyed being out in the fresh air! it's just to bad we didn't have our fly rods.

Our first post!

So we finally hopped on the band wagon and decided to start a blog. I have loved looking at everyone else's blogs so hopefully you will like ours. I know it's kind of boring right now, but I will try and post some pictures later today. A little more about us... we were married December 15, 2007 and have loved married life. We went on our honeymoon to Hawaii, thanks to Andrew and our parents who provided us with hotels to stay in (thank you all!). Since we've been back, Andrew has been very patient with me and my cooking skills.:) We've been busy with school and work, but loving life. And thank goodness it's summer time. This will be my last semester of school yipee. Sorry Andrew! But college is really a blast (minus papers and tests).:) Other than that we have just had fun hanging out with our families and friends. Oh and happy birthday Bre! We love you!
